The story behind the 052 MILITYRAY LINE KITSHOP collection:
In 1996 members created the compound symbol OVII (overlapping) which was based on Lineman's business number, 052.
Since then, this logo has represented this profession across the country. However, there was no official recognition from the Canadian Forces, so no opportunities to display their membership by displaying promotional items like most other trades.
In 2020, a former Lineman in the Canadian Armed Forces, decided to undertake a mass project with the aim of exposing his craft through emblem. In order to reunite current members, veterans and veterans, he based himself on the symbol known to all fitters within the Canadian Forces, so that all can exhibit their sense of belonging.
Lineman's trade, often forgotten, represents the nervous system from the point of view of communications during operations, exercises or deployments since the creation of Morse code. Proudly wearing this emblem on clothing and accessories also highlights our unsung war heroes who have led to victories in combat during which their actions were decisive.
